MIES (Switzerland) – FIBA has published the referees nominated for FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments 2024. The four qualifying tournaments to be held in Greece, Latvia, Puerto Rico, and Spain from 2 to 7 July will be officiated by a group of 32 referees. The majority of them have been included in the Long List of Referees who are in contention to officiate at the Olympic Basketball Tournaments Paris 2024. The group has an average of 40,9 years of age and 13,4 years of experience on the international level.

There are 24 nationalities on the list from all 5 FIBA Regions, with 3 female referees from the USA, 

The nominated group will undergo a standard FIBA pre-competition preparation program focusing on teamwork, play calling, work protocols, and mental and physical preparation.
