FIBA has published referee nominations for U19 Men’s World Cup
A list of referees for the 2025 U19 Men’s World Cup is published.

MIES (Switzerland) – The excitement is growing for the FIBA U19 Men's Basketball World Cup in Lausanne, Switzerland, from June 28 to July 6, 2025. FIBA has announced the referees who will be working at this world-level event.

28 referees from around the world have been selected, coming from all five FIBA Regions: Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania.

In preparation, the referees will go through a 12-week training program in the lead-up to the World Cup. This program will include a theoretical part with extensive video analysis, communication training, mental preparation with tactical awareness and building resilience in stressful situations, and a physical preparation program supported and monitored by the FIBA Referees’ Fitness Team.

Just before the start of the competition, the referees will come together in Switzerland for a three-day Pre-Competition Camp. This camp will focus on applying skills in real-game situations and building a successful 17th team of the Competition alongside the 16 National Teams.

Selecting these referees shows FIBA's dedication to serving and safeguarding the game and ensuring that players have the best possible environment to showcase their talent.
