A list of 28 referees for U17 World Cup is published

MIES (Switzerland) – FIBA has published the referees nominated for the 2024 U17 World Cup to be held in Istanbul, Türkiye from 29 June to 7 July. The games will be officiated by a group of 28 referees. The selected referees represent all five FIBA Regions and include 8 women referees.

The group has an average of 37,6 years of age and 9,1 years of experience on the international level. The referees will undergo a standard FIBA pre-competition preparation program focusing on teamwork, play calling, work protocols, and mental and physical preparation between April and June.
