MIES (Switzerland) – FIBA has published the referees nominated for the 2024 U17 Women’s World Cup to be held in Mexico from 13 to 21 July. The games will be officiated by a group of 28 referees. The selected referees represent all five FIBA Regions and include 13 women, a slight increase from the previous U17 Women’s World Cup in 2022 held in Spain.

The group has an average of 35,4 years of age and 7,5 years of experience on the international level. The referees will undergo a standard FIBA pre-competition preparation program focusing on teamwork, play calling, work protocols, and mental and physical preparation between April and July.
